In the complimentary consultation, I will speak with you and preferably your partner about your expectations for a doula, I'll explain what I do, go over my agreement and what I expect of my clients, and at that point, we mutually decide if we're a good fit.

At the 2nd meeting, we will summarize your childbirth education, if any and collect my fee. If you're not taking childbirth classes, I can give private instruction for an additional fee, which will be discussed at that time. We will discuss scenarios and what you wish for your birth, which will help form your birth plan (if you don't already have one).

At the 3rd meeting, we will physically practice various techniques for labor coping, and finalize any details.

If time is a constraint, we can combine any or all of these meetings.
